Pastoral Staff

Rev. Timothy & Kimberly Harris, Senior Pastor
The Harrises and their children Jonathan, Nathaniel, and Joanna came to Englewood Assembly of God in September, 1998. Tim previously served seven years as senior pastor in Woodbury, New Jersey after nine years of youth and music ministry in the suburbs of New York City. He has a Master of Divinity degree from Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY and a Bachelors of Science degree from Fordham University in the Bronx, NY. He has been ordained with the Assemblies of God since 1991. He also currently serves as the Presbyter of the Northern section of the New Jersey District of the Assemblies of God. Kim leads the Women's Ministries of the church and is a gifted pianist and vocalist. The Harrises are both originally from Rockland County, New York.

Rev. Peter & Evelyn Tembo, Associate Pastor
The Tembos came on staff at Englewood A/G in November 2005. Both Peter and Evelyn grew up in Harare, Zimbabwe Africa. There Peter served first as the Youth Pastor and then the Associate Pastor at Upper Room Ministries. He graduated with a Ministerial Diploma from Pentecostal Bible School, now known as Pan African Theological Bible School in Harare. He and Evelyn also did some studies with Rhema Bible School. He currently serves Englewood A/G as the Assistant Pastor, ministering especially in the areas of pastoral care, prayer ministry, and missions. Evelyn is a gifted speaker and is currently serving as an administrative secretary to the Permanent Ambassador of Zimbabwe to The United Nations in New York City. The Tembos have four children, Alma, Peter, Joseph,and Alora.

Rev. Joshua & Tiffany Escobar, Youth and Children's Pastor
Joshua and Tiffany Escobar joined the Englewood A/G staff in June 2004. Joshua grew up in North Jersey and as a teen ministered extensively in his home church - especially in the area of children's ministry. From 1999 - 2000 Joshua was enrolled in the Honor Academy and served with TeenMania and Aquire the Fire where he ministered to thousands of teens across America. He then moved to Mexico to help start a missions organization called Todos Deben de Saber with Marcos Witt Ministries. In 2001 Joshua attended Tulsa, Oklahoma to study at Oral Roberts University. In 2002, he returned to his home church and served as the interim youth pastor. Joshua then went to Valley Forge Christian College to continue his ministerial studies. Tiffany as well studied at Valley Forge Christian College where she received her degree in psychology.
